Bachelor of Pharmacy is an undergraduatedegree where by students have career options in academics, community pharmacy, clinical pharmacy and drug research. The degree is the basic prerequisite for registration to practice as a pharmacist in many countries and it is about understanding the properties and impacts of medicines and developing the skills required to counsel patients about their use. The goal is to provide qualified pharmacist who could provide pharmaceutical services to the community and hospital, specialize in research & technology, manage pharmaceutical services and scientific research. With global opportunities this program enables excellence and a great sense of accomplishment.
Program Objectives

- Train professionals who focus on improving the quality of life and facilitate postgraduate training and research.
- Work in an industry as a production manager, marketing manager or quality control manager.
- Provide placements in government and private sectors in vital areas such as community, pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, hospital, pharmacy, regulatory control and drug management.
- Enable competent handling of drug procurement.
- Conduct need based research studies in various settings and utilize the research findings to improve the quality of pharmaceuticals.
- Demonstrate awareness and contribute towards advancement of self and of the profession.
